For Year 4, this half term, they are learning about watercolour painting in their painting and drawing unit.
Their work is inspired by local artist, Keiron Williamson.
The fact that such a young person could produce such incredible artwork provided a great example for them to aspire to. What was even more powerful was that he lived in our community of North Norfolk.
The children then went on to develop their own skills, creating a wash by mixing in more water to the blue paint. This added knowledge to their already strong knowledge of colour mixing as a concept.
